Mr. Jerry Greenberg, is a native of New Haven, CT and the past President of Atlantic Records, ATCO Records, MGM/UA Music, MJJ Michael Jackson Music, and SONY WTG Records. Jerry just completed his Autobiography titled “WHOLE LOTTA MUSIC” with Muscle Shoals Alabama native, Joyce Peters, PhD. a professional author and musicologist.

Jerry is the man who turned Percy Sledge’s “When A Man Loves A Woman” into an instant Gold record for Rick Hall and Jerry Wexler. Jerry was also a pioneer in the British invasion of American rock bringing the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, ABBA, Foreigner, and others to the U.S. As president of Atlantic Records in the 70’s Jerry had a close connection to Rick Hall and the Swampers.and also worked with Pop and R&B artist such as, Shannon, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Roberta Flack, Ray Charles, Jimmy Hendrix, King Curtis and a plethora of EDM, DISCO and RAP artist ! Mr. Greenberg ‘s wife was a singer who cut an album with Phil Spector. His father, brother and daughter were successful music executives, too. Another daughter was a successful line producer on the movie “Forrest Gump”. The Greenberg family have made an indelible mark on the music and entertainment industries . 

The author, Joyce Peters, is a professional author and musicologist who wrote the autobiography and she is a past chairman of the Shoals Chamber Of Commerce, a past Ambassador committee chairman who served on the Executive Advisory Committee for the Shoals Chamber who lobbied for the funding of the Patton Island Bridge project and ran her own health clinics in Muscle Shoals and Florence for ten years where she provided care to many music executives and artist in the area before moving to Hollywood, California with her daughter Summer Perry who is also a research contributor on the book.

Thus, shaping the face of American music. Sometime thereafter, Dr. Dre later donated over a million dollars to preserve and restore the Muscle Shoals Sound Museum at 3614 Jackson Hwy.

Mr Greenberg has also reached an agreement for an upcoming movie based on the autobiography with Hollywood Film Corporation CEO Mikel Ravenscroft and Lou Weisbach, a Film Financier to make Jerry’s autobiography, into a major motion picture film that will feature scenes of events that happened in the Shoals. The authors and film-makers have a great respect for the music history of the Shoals, NYC, LA and around the world. “Whole Lotta Music ” will stimulate music tourism to the Music Hall of Fame locations.
