Primal Optics Drops New Single & Plans To Open Studio to Empower Local Artists

Worldwide – February 13, 2024 (USANews.com) – Ian Talbert, widely known by his stage name Primal Optics, is thrilled to announce the release of his latest single, “What’s Real?” This highly anticipated track showcases Primal Optics’ unique musical style and marks a significant milestone in his career since he recently decided to push his album to give it the time it deserves. “In this season of my journey I mostly want to explore and experiment. Committing to an album can really bog you down and put you in a box creatively. I didn’t like that feeling so I decided to just drop singles instead while I take my time with my first album. I really want it to be a cohesive project. At the same time I don’t want my fans to have to wait forever for new music, so I plan to drop many singles over the foreseeable future.” Alongside this exciting release, Primal Optics is also unveiling plans to open his home studio to the public, aiming to empower and support local artists in their creative endeavors.

What’s Real?” is a captivating composition that effortlessly blends various genres, showcasing Primal Optics’ versatility as an artist. With its infectious melodies, thought-provoking lyrics, and impeccable production, the single is set to captivate listeners and leave a lasting impression on the music scene. Primal Optics’ distinctive sound, characterized by a fusion of electronic elements and organic instrumentation, has garnered him a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim.

In addition to his musical achievements, Primal Optics is committed to fostering a thriving local music community. With the opening of his studio, he aims to provide a platform for emerging artists to explore their creativity and elevate their craft. The studio will offer a range of services, including recording, mixing, mastering, and production assistance, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each artist. Primal Optics’ expertise and passion for music will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of the local music scene.

“I am beyond excited to share my new single, ‘What’s Real?‘ with the world. This song is deeply personal to me, and I hope it resonates with listeners on a profound level,” said Primal Optics.

“Furthermore, I am thrilled to say that I am planning to open my home studio to select fellow artists in and around Johnson City, TN later this year. It is my mission to provide a supportive and creative environment where local talent can thrive and reach their full potential. My studio is a small but very creative space and I plan to make the experience very comfortable for the artists I choose to work with. Making great music is a very vulnerable and uncomfortable process sometimes and I know from experience how much it can help to have someone who understands this alongside coaching you, affirming direction, and giving you an alternate perspective. I plan to help artists from concept to creation with a very hands on process. Whether they need help with the writing process, production, or even their visuals and personal branding. I will be able to help in all of these capacities.”

“However, operating a music studio is secondary to my own artistry. So I say “open to the public” lightly… Not just anyone will be able to book time with me. I am only going to be working closely with artists that prove to me they are serious about the craft that I can actually vibe well with. My goal isn’t just to provide some basic studio services. My goal is to help cultivate an artist and extract something deep within them and translate it into a masterpiece. On top of my music career, I also run a business called MASK Tactical, which is my primary thing and takes the majority of my time. So this means I have to be selective with who I choose to work with on the music side. If things go as planned for me over the next few years, I may even start a small label of my own at some point. For now, my goal is to simply get more of my fans and fellow artists inside the WOLFGANG. It’s a place for my fans to connect, get BTS content, early music access, and if you’re an artist, you can also take advantage of The Artist Ecosystem, a tool I built to help artists create, manage, and market their music more effectively.”

Primal Optics’ dedication to his craft and his commitment to empowering other artists have already garnered attention and support from the music community. With his new single and the opening of his studio, Primal Optics is poised to make a lasting impact on the Johnson City music scene and beyond.
